Dear December,
Hot coffee brewing, hopefully it’ll help with the writers wall I cant seem to climb right now. ESPN is on in the background as I stare at this blank screen thinking about what I should write about. Seeing how it’s December I feel it’s appropriate to recap 2015, but that feels like too much pressure for a first blog post if you ask me….probably easiest if I start with a simple, non controversial, fun topic.
Donald Trump. America will not stop talking about this crazy, old, spoiled man. Even Donald Trump is talking about Donald Trump, might as well join the crowd. Donald Trump is the answer to all the extremists prayers who have been waiting for their King. Confidently carrying this macho appeal that he can “make America great again”, he’s “sick of things not getting done” and he “can fix it”.
Donald Trump’s radical sense of false bravado fuels the anti-establishment feeling in our country as Donald Trump prays on the naïve for support. Fortune and fame should not qualify one for office, and yet it has for him. This type of illogical thinking is what has America headed towards this Trump 2016 predicament, placing America in the hands of a trust fund kid who clearly believes he is greater than all others is not the solution. Donald Trumps logic is verbalizing he has all the answers with no evidence of practical solutions. Showing America that while he’s been living in egomaniaville he has allowed himself to become blind to current political details.
If anything begins to be prevent Donald Trump from his goal of “winning” then he will make sure to punch back, usually below the belt, until he pushes the opposition out of his path; Donald Trump > America. There’s a difference in being resilient and being a assh*le. Donald Trump isn’t afraid of offending anyone, you can’t be president and spit fire. Everyone has a good side, even Donald Trump. It is unfortunate that Trump choses to use his power to benefit himself, opposed to creating a positive change; good golf course > good cause.

Oh, he’s rich? I completely understand now. America is a country full of people who can relate to the “Trump dream” of inheriting two hundred million dollars, so of course we should vote for this man because he truly understands what American life is like. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Donald Trump could not be further removed from what average Americans overcome daily, therefore Donald Trump is not someone who truly knows what is best for America.
Donald Trump is leading the GOP race. It is as if he is hypnotizing people into believing that he is someone he is not. When would we ever think that someone who manipulates the financial system by filing for multiple bankruptcies to take advantage of the system is a good candidate to lead our country; quickest way > right way.
Donald Trump validates that money can’t buy integrity.
It physically pains me to see that someone who has more in common with a psycho than a president is capable of rallying up such support and endorsements. Not that he needs any donations considering he makes it crystal clear that he can pay for his entire campaign. Nor does he need to pay for much media considering he is great at branding himself. Donald Trump is better qualified for an entertaining reality show on “How NOT to Act Just Because You are Rich”, than he is for a respectable presidential candidate.

Money and confidence are not an excuse to be Donald Trump. He has outlandishly offended
- Latinos
- African Americans
- Women
- Physically Challenged
- His Competitors
We need to support people of all ages, color, background, not only because it is the right thing to do but we are the United, UNITED States of America.

Donald Trump is a man with the integrity of someone who insists he saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating in the streets during the 9/11 attack via video clips that no one can now find. The New Jersey community is hurt and shocked of this accusation. Absolutely no good can come from these types of false accusations. Once again showing Donald Trump rather speak half truths that will grab his audience’s attention, than speak about the reality of our current situation; hearsay > facts.

Why is it okay for Donald Trump to run for president but it’s not okay for Donald Sterling to go to a basketball game? Are they so different?
Donald Trump publically condemned all Mexican immigrants, and he plans to deport millions. When asked if it would hurt the economy, he replied that “we are a country of laws.” Didn’t answer the question. When pushed by Jeb Bush and John Kasich (“It’s a silly argument, it’s not an adult argument. It makes no sense.”), Trump replied that Dwight Eisenhower deported more than a million Mexican immigrants successfully.
Oh yeah that’s right Eisenhower’s great plan that only took three times to semi-work, good ol’ operation “Wetback.” You heard right, Donald Trump would like to re-implement Operation Wetback, and yes it was every bit as inhumane as the name implies.
There is a small part of me that understands racism and narrow minded thinking was tolerated in past generations (Trump is 69) , but that does not make it acceptable right now.
Now is time to wake up.
We are all on the same team at the end of the day, and it is time for us to act like The United States of America.
